Contracting HPV

I have been researching HPV, but I can not find the answer to my question so maybe someone here can help me.

I am confused about how people get HPV. Everything I read says that it is contracted by genital contact mostly vaginal and anal sex, and that HPV can lie dorment or latent in the body for a number of years since someone last had sex.

So my question is if two people don't have the virus and have never had any other sexual contact in the past, can they somehow make HPV? or does it have to come from someone who got infected by someone else?

oh wait..i was mistaken..i just remembered......alien being creatures called ignoraatians who inhabit the circulating small planet bodies of Neptune created the HPV virus in a gaseous crater filled with ammoniated gasses made it poisonous bottled it threw it in2 the stratosphere and sent it to earth to inhabit the private parts of earthling women!

"someone has to have made it to transmit it"

Nobody makes hpv or  any other disease caused by a virus or bacteria.  It developed thousands of years ago, probably a mutation of a good virus.  All life needs good bacteria and viruses to survive. Then, one day, a little mutuation happens and poof, it develops.  Are you in college? Go ask your science teacher how viruses are "made".
