Genital wart or side effects from circumcision

Firstly i know without a picture it would be hard to make any kind of assumptions. I got circumcised back in January and the healing process went well or so i thought. As soon as all the blood and the like dissapeared i noticed some bumps. I thought it must have just been scar tissue and that it would fade after the healing process was through. There are a few questions that i need answered to put my mind at ease:

1. There are two rather small bumps on my circumcision scar line even though it has been almost 4 months since my operation have i given it enough time to heal?

2. About a month ago i went to the doctor and she said that she didnt think they were warts, but she didnt give me any alternative of what it could be and just said that my skin was normal... Could she be wrong?

3. The bumps are flesh coloured and slightly raised and are almost unnoticeable when the skin is stretched during an erection... anyone have any idea what this could be?

4. Is there anything during a circumcision operation that could have caused this?

Thanks for any replies. I really need someone to give me advice im going out of my mind with worry. The bumps dont look bad at all and if they are part of my normal anatomy then i will leave them be, but obviously if they are due to warts then i will need to get them treated.

Any feedback would be great and hopefully someone who has been through and adult circumcision

Thanks in advance. I am 19 years old btw.

My circumcision was done for medical reasons. Why was yours done through personal preference or was it due to medical issues? I prefer being circumcised so i agree with you. I have experienced both the intact penis and the cut one and i prefer being cut. Everyone for me seems alot better now i am circumcised. Just wish it would heal up a bit faster!

Glad I could help.  You and I both understand why parents should have their boys circumcised when they're babies!  Ask anyone who went through it as an adult and they'll agree.  43% of all births last year were by single moms.  So ladies, if you're reading this, maybe it'll help you if you have to decide this issue for your son.  There are a whole lot of reasons in support of circumcism, such as health, hygiene, cosmetics, later complications and pain as an adult, and self-esteem.

Thanks alot for your assurance! I feel alot better now. The only reason i was worried was because my doctor did not give me any options of what they could have been and just said it was normal. Thanks alot im glad you posted on this because i was really worried. And the fact that you were around my age when you had the operation is very reassuring because you understand what i have been through.

Thanks alot.

I just joined forum and read your post.  I was circumcised when I was 18 and had the same kinds of bumps around the incission that you describe.  My doctor told me to expect them and that they were normal.  They were scar tissue from the sutures.  It took about 2 years for them to go away, but even now I have a couple small suture scars.  I'm 59 now and they have never bothered me, so don't worry about them.  You're normal.
