Should i go get tested to be safe?

At 16 i was raped. About a month later i was noticing skin colored bumps in my vagina went to planned parenthood they said it was genital warts. They gave me medication cream and they went away in about a months time. I 19 years old gonna be 20 in july. I havent had any symptoms or outbreaks since then is thT good or still something to worry about? When the doctor their told me about it she said its safe for me and my partner weither its femLe or male as long as i have no outbreaks. Me and my gf want to have sex but im scared too. Should i go get tested or get a pap smear before to be safe and make sure??

Tell her to get the hpv shots maybe you have one of those types that the vaccine protects you from, either way you should be fine if you don't an outbreak!
I have hpv high risk so I don't get warts but I can get cervical cancer, its been dormant mode for over 3 years. I still got the vaccine to protect me from other types.

Im sorry to hear about your rape. I too was raped.
you should go get tested if anything for peace of mind. I had an outbreak of wart and was removed my acid treatment during my pregnancy last year. Had a pap since and am now clear.
