HPV and symptoms

I had unprotected sex with a close female friend of mine at the end of December. I am in a long term relationship so immediately after the experience i began to worry about contracting an std.  without fail i began to get a burning sensation when urinating.  my doc checked me out, i had no visual symptoms but he put me one meds for clamidia and gonorrhea just to make sure if i did have anything it was treated.  at the beginning of feb my throat was extremely sore and my neck felt tight.  i went to the doc again, was running a low grade temp and he put me on antiboitics.  i asked if this could be related to symptoms of an std and he said no.  the antibiotics helped slightly but the symptoms never completely went away.  i went back to the doc a week and a half ago to explain that my throat still felt sore, and i had pressure in one of my ears.  he confirmed that my tonsils were slightly swollen, i had fluid in my one ear indicating some type of infection, and i was still running a temp of 99.  he prescribed cyprofoxacin, another antibiotic.  currently my throat and ears feel much better, but i have pain in my lower joints, particularly my knees and buttox.  I've taken the HIV rapid test twice, both times coming up negative.  I should also note that the woman i had sex with had a full std test and everything came up negative.  I have never showed any physical symptoms around my groin, but from doing research on all the std's physical signs don't always appear.  However my problem is that every symptom i get in every area of my body i relate to my encounter with her, and worry that i have some type of std or hepatitis.  If you could provide any feedback to calm my nerves it would be great.

Also...none of these are symptoms of HPV. If you had only high risk HPV you would prob have no symptoms at all and serious health issues are very rare. Low risk strains can cause warts and again the only symptom would be gential warts. HPV is very common and many people have it without ever having symptoms.

Fear and anxiety itself can cause all of these symptoms. You know this woman, you consider her a friend and you say she has been tested, plus you know she is not having symptoms, right. You have had various STD tests, HIV at 3 months post is accurate. Even with HIV for you to have so many symptoms it would show up positive on a test. Your doc has assured you that he doesn't feel your health issues are STD related.

We are just coming out of cold and flu season and going into allergy season. We all get normal virus' during this time. Also when we have sex, esp oral we can get a little cold type thing just from irritation.

Trust me I have done most of the same stuff to myself with fears and symptoms.
If you need more assurance you can do repeat STD tests, full testing for everything. Most things are accurate at 3 months, a few fully at 6. Or you can pay the $20 fee for the doc STD forum on this site and one of the specialists will prob tell you about the same things I have. :) Sometimes we just need assurance not to be scared. Now this doesn't mean you don't have other health issues going on. Did you use protection? If you used a condom then your risks are very low, and it is difficult to get many STD's with oral sex.
