Termination of Pregnancy

I would like to know how many terminations are considered to be life threatning because I am considering terminating a pregnancy and I've had 4 previous abortions and I wanted to know what is the maximum because I know that this is a very dangerous thing to do. Please advice.

I have to respectfully disagree with turkee.  A termination that is done safely by a Dr. very rarely puts the mother's life in jeoprody.  It can however leave uterine scarring and done too many times can make it difficult for an egg to attach properly to the uterine wall. So if done continuously it can make it difficult to have a sucessful pregnancy when you want to.  I have had to have 2 D&C's due to miscarriage, and that is basically the same procedure. I had no choice in having them as my body was not miscarrying naturally, but even with those two it was becoming to be a bit of a concern due to minimal scarring left behind.

I am not going to judge you.  Only you know why you need to do this and I am not living your life.  However, you need to go on a proper and safe form of birth control. Up until I chose to have a baby I used depo sucessfully.  It is a small needle administered every 3 months. No worries about remembering to take a pill every day or anything.  It is a far better alternative then using termination as a form of birth control.  You need to talk to your Dr. about birth control and ensure you are using it until you are ready to become a mom.

it is very dangerous..... you need to ask your doctor..... soon when you are trying to concieve and KEEP the baby, its going to make it almost impossible to get pregnant or have a full term pregnancy. abortions take a HUGE toll on your body and cervix and everything else that is involved with getting pregnant....

can i ask why you terminating another pregnancy?..... no adoptions?...any other options?
