Can heterosexual men contract HPV and have warts in the anus or this strictly contracted by having sex with other men?

yes it is possible for straight men to have anal warts.I have them myself,as well as on my scrotum and penis.I just had cryotherapy done at my doctors on all the areas(7 days ago)cryotherapy freezes off the warts and kills the cells inside.it's a harmless procedure, and doesn't hurt at all.it just feels really cold when they're doing it.I'm seeing awesome results just after my first cryotherapy session.at first you might not notice anything.on day 3 I saw that some of the warts on my scrotum turned white.7 days later,90% of them are starting to form scabs, and some even fell off on their own without me picking at them.I can't wait for my next cryotherapy session.my doctor recommened a total of 3 sessions of cryo.hope this helped.

I have had anal warts, and I am heterosexual.  I have a history of having them in the genital area, and I think they spread to the anal area. I think this may have happened by touching the infected area and then touching other areas of my body.
