HPV question
I have HPV, me or my partner have no signs of warts and we have ben exclusive for almost 3 years. If there are no warts do I have the HPV that can cause cancer and if it is will my partner have it and show any symptoms. Or is it possible that I have the type that causes warts and neither of us have any obvious warts. I have also had problems in the past few years with bleeding between periods and im on birth control and continuous vaginal discharge and frequent yeast infections. I have also been having lower abdominal pain in the past year and I have had a ultrasound of my abdomen that was ok. I recently had mono which I have never had before, could that be related to cancer causing decreased immune system. I have a colposcopy scheduled but I am very worried which type I have. They told me it didn't appear cancerous but I have my doubts. Please help.

First of all, you should have been told which type you have when you were diagnosed. They should have told you either high risk or low risk strain. Secondly, yes you can have low risk (strain that causes genital warts) hpv without ever having genital warts.
Regarding your irregular menstruation and frequent yeast infections, hpv doesn't cause any symptoms. High risk hpv has the potential to cause cancer and low risk hpv has the potential to cause genital warts. Hpv does not cause discharge, bleeding in between periods, pain etc.
Yes, a flareup of ebv can be caused by something weakening the immune system such as cancer, but I don't think this is the case for you. And how do you know this isn't the first time you've come into contact with ebv? Hpv takes a number of years to actually cause cancer. It's not like other cancers, it's progression is somewhat slow. So usually you have a colpo and there may be some dysplasia, or not. Picture a scale with perfectly healthy cervical cells on one end- and cancerous cells on the opposite end. In between these two extremes is dysplasia. It's not cancerous but has the ability to become cancerous if left unchecked by the immune system and untreated by a doctor. However, it also has the ability to become healthy again. There are basically different levels of dysplasia- mild, moderate, severe etc. before the stage of cancer is ever reached. And before that stage is reached, a doctor will usually perform a leep or a cone biopsy. Depending on the severity of cervical dysplasia, a doctor may simply just want to keep an eye on it without interfering to give the body time to reverse the dysplasia.
Ok (now don't quote me on this) but I didn't think colpos were performed for low risk strains of hpv. So it would be my guess that you have high risk? Can anyone back this up?
Lastly, it sounds like you're going through a stressful time. You need to do everything you can to get your immune system ready to fight hpv. Stress and anxiety is so bad for the immune system. It won't help you any to fret over this. I know you're worried, but take a deep breath and relax :) Learn as much as you can about hpv and you might want to read through the posts here too, you're likely to find some useful info :)
