HPV transmission trough used underwear

Hi.
The day before yesterday I tryed on a friend's panties, but over mine,I didnt took mine off and mine was quite bigger than hers.
I know that she already had problems with pre cancerous cells caused by hpv,but as soon as I was using my panties under hers I didnt mind about getting something.
When I arrived home I saw in the internet that you can get HPV if in contact with someone else's underwear, but even If I was using mine?
Am I in risk of getting any std? One week prior to this I waxed my bikini line with an epilator, what if I had a scratch and the panties touched it?
Am I overreacting or is it possible?
Thanks

I'm not saying that this is a sure thing. And if you read the first sentence below "some research SUGGESTS" you should then not be alarmed. But I got this from a planned parenthood link

http://www.plannedparenthood.org/files/PPFA/HPV_08-06.pdf

"Some research also suggests that genital HPV can
be transmitted through nonsexual routes, via fomites
ā€” inanimate objects such as towels or underwear ā€”
but more research must be conducted to examine
these modes of transmission"

Note that in the far majority of cases, HPV is cleared within two years and most people never knew they ever contacted it or cleared it. Including Bible thumping conservatives. Cheers!

BTW: Since you put her underwear over your underwear, I doubt if there was contact between her underwear and your skin. Your risk is extremely too low to even be concerned. Buckle your seatbelt and be a defensive driver. Worry about that more.
