HELP, NEED ADVICE!!!!!

I am recently married, 44 years old,had gonerrhea on time when I was 19 years old. I keep getting infections. I had one after I had a miscarriage in Aug. 07. I had another one in Feb. 08. Now I am experincing the same infectious symptoms.  The dr. said my cervix is friable. I looked it up on the computer. I'm shocked!  The thing that sticks in my mind is this casn be caused by clamydia or HPV. Doesn't HPV lead to cervical cancer? I have problems with my periods, my uterus in retroverted, and I am scared. I have no insurance and cannot afford to tkeep going to the dr. but i cannot live in this much pain. Has anyone out there been allergic to condoms? When I asked my dr. about it she said mmmm, I don't know.  Please respond, please help, I am in so much pain right now!

Thank you for responding. No, I have not been diagnosed with HPV or genital warts and all my pap smear come back negative for STD's. But something is causing these infections and I just an seem to get anywhere as far as help goes. I have not htought about the planned parenthood clinics. I did find a dr. who reats patients that do not have insurance. I have an appt. for Tuesday morning. I'm still in pain, I have thought about going to the ER(the pain is that bad). I have been to the ER for this before, they make me feel like a piece of ****. They almost demand money from me. I told them at the ER , I wanted to apply for state funded assistance and was told unless I was pregnant or  had cervical cancer I will be turned down. I guess, I'll see what happens Tuesday with this new dr. I reviewed my records yesterday form all the drs. I have seen and this is been going on for at least 4 years now!!!!   Thank you

Has your doctor diagnosed you as having HPV or genital warts?  Typically HPV (and usually chlamydia if checked for) would show up as abnormalities on your latest pap smear.  If you're having money issues and worried about STI problems, I strongly suggest going to your nearest Planned Parenthood clinic.  They can treat you on a sliding scale fee or free of charge, depending on your financial circumstances.  If you're in severe pain I recommend seeing a doctor immediately, agonizing pain isn't something to ignore.
