How soon can I have sex after Genital Warts?!?

Everything on the internet is so uncertain on this virus. I have been clear for a month now, and I have been dating somebody casually. I'm so conflicted if 1. I should tell them especially if it's casual

But out of curiosity for the future, how many exact months should I wait till I can have sex?

If anyone has any personally stories how long they waited and if any of their potential partners ever ended up getting infected please let me know, i would be really curious to hear and help me determine my own future decisions.

Most people wait at least 3 months. Some wait 6 months to a year. There is no exact amount of months but 1 month is short. The doctors on here recommended a 3 month wait after the last wart disappeared. Using latex condoms will prevent re-occurrence esp if you are talking about casual sex. Informing future partners is up to you but is recommended. Although infecting others is a risk, the real risk to having sex so soon after clearance is to your good health. Why risk that?
