Hpv and pregnancy

Basically i have had abnormal pap smears. Ive noticed small multiple warts on the outside private area. Im 9 weeks pregnant and this is my first child. What should i be concerned about as far as my baby? What are the chances of he or she being healthy? Need peace of mind. Thank you

so you also had an abnormal pap too?  did they do a hpv dna test on your cervix?  how about a colposcopy?

also herpes testing usually is not a part of routine std testing. you and your partner will both have to check to see if you've ever been tested for it. it's important info to know for pregnancy.

I have hpv and had my warts removed about 2 months ago now. I'm 29+2 days pregnant with twin boys.
Your babies will be fine. If you have the warts at time of delivery you will most likely have a c section to prevent possibility of baby getting it. They can get it in their throats and I for got what its called.
In my case since no warts are present I still want a c section just to be on the safe side.
So relax and enjoy your pregnancy. If your wondering about treatment. Tca is what I had and it doesn't affect pregnancy or baby. Just burns the warts. They turn white then fall off. I'm here to talk if you need to. Congrats in the pregnancy!

Yes ive been tested for everything . Everything in my blood work came back negative. My pap smears are abnormal . Abnormal cell division . After that was detected not until later did the warts start popping up. I dislike the whole thought of this. I know its common its just an eery feeling

Thank you for responding. Well my first doctors appointment with my NEW doctor is the 25th. Ill inform him of everything but removal has never been discussed because they just revently started coming up (the warts).  My partner is aware and has not been tested yet. Shows no physical symptomes but of course it could still be there.  Will i have to have a C section?

your baby isn't likely to contract your hpv during delivery :)  breathe!!!
