Hpv eventually going dormant

I just got diagnosed with hpv genital warts. I plan on getting my immune system up and strong to fight it. I have heard many things about the virus going dormant. Is it true that if it has been 3 to 8 months since an outbreak, that the virus is now dormant?
Also, has anyone tried the supplement Red Marine Algea Plus? I've heard wonderful things about it.

I think john334 did not mean to use the word "cured".  Dormant is the proper word where you are not infectious at that time. I've never tried that suppliement. I use:

No one knows for sure, some experts say 3 to 6 months some say 1 year, but nobody is certain. Based on the behavior of the virus if they stay away for 3 months they are less likely to recur however delayed recurrences can happen from time to time but usually for most infections it does not and you can consider yourself cured at this point.
