I have Mild Dysplasia.
I have been diagnosed with mild dyplasia and I was wandering can my boyfriend get it or did he already have it?Please I need answers! I'm scared.
Your not nasty you have to take care of yourself because no one else will, You probably don't feel comfortable talking to others and that is why you feel this way. Relax its not a big deal and you shouldn't punish yourself; you've already got to deal with this.
Hi - Im 33 and about 4 years ago I had a regular pap and it came back showing my HPV levels were high so I went to my gyne and after a biopsy, I had severe dysplacia which is where my cervical cells were at the stage right before turning into cancer. I had a LEEP procedure done (they remove the cells) and had to get re checked every 3 months for the first year, then every 6 months the next year. I have been fine every since BUT I did get all call from my doc today, he said HPV is positive again but the cells are normal, re check in 6 months instead of a year. I have breast cancer (AUNT) and ovarian cancer (MOM) in my family so they watch me a little more closely. I have had no signs of warts at all so I believe I have a different type of HPV.
All this stuff makes me feel nasty and it was my fault.
can what not using tampons prevent you from gettiing pregnant? or having HPV?
having HPV has nothing to do with getting pregnant and won't effect your fertility. =)
yes having mild dysplasia does mean HPV infection is present.
Their is the possibility of transmitting through oral, but it is not quit known what the effect are, I have given oral to my BF many times and have only had one wart but it is above my mouth and it is barely noticable... I haven't had any isnside my mouth.
You don't need to have warts or symptoms, most HPV cases go unknown do to that.

Vitamins C,E and D are good, try not using tampons that can help from A)spreading them and B) irritating them.
I know what you mean but also the less sex the less irritation, I've taken on foreplay a lot, this is pleasurable for both of us and not as irritating for me. I've actually noticed a huge decrease in my warts, I've cleared the high risk and I'm just waiting for the warts to go away =) but i was a bit lucky and could never notice any of mine. you'll notice things will get better in a few months...

Thats interesting.Why can't he test for it? Does it matter what kind of vitamins? I hate to grose you out but i want to know. I use to love sex and have it 3 times a day and now i get sore after 1 time and it sometimes burns. Its been a problem for me and my bf.
He most likely has it already, I wouldn't be scared.. your doctor will work with you and too be honest most HPV cases will clear on their own with in two years at the most... Your BF can not test for this though.
I would (if you're not already) start taking vitamins and eating healthy and exercise helps too, it has every thing to do with your immune system
