Doctors can't test for HPV unless you have visable warts they can see, thats why he didn't test for it. Warts in the area you speak of are uncommon, and getting an STD through oral is very rare. When you go to a urologist then make sure to tell them about your urine in two streams, and your worried there may be a wart. My guess is its nothing, I think your just worrying. However, I can't say your 100% free because the only way to know that is to see a professional and to get tested.
The tube thing won't hurt, it'll just be uncomfortable. I know it sounds like a horror movie but it isn't as bad as it seems! Women get metal devices inserted inside them to open the area up so they can see the cervix... it isn't pleasant but getting checked for intimate problems never is. If a woman can do it I have faith you can do it to! Just don't freak yourself out about it.
I got checked for HIV, and chylamadia, and I don't have either. However I don't understand why my doctor didn't check for the other std's, or whatever you can get from oral sex.
He said since I don't have a discharge no point in checking for gonnorhea, but I made him check for it anyways. Also I'm getting checked for Hepatatis A, and C.
I have a question how can I check for HPV? he said there is no urine or blood test for this, so how can I check for it? also I have a split stream I don't know if I have always had it or it's recent because of my oral exposure. However he reffered me to a urologist and they are going to stick a tube in there and its going to HURT!!!
please im so worried still, do you think I'm 100% clean? theres no discharge and it only hurts sometimes when I urinate not frequently and thats usually in the morning and its not like intense pain its just me focusing on it too much.
Well like I said from your encounter it is highly unlikely you caught anything. Though urine coming out in two streams sometimes happens when there is a wart inside.
Other symptoms might include intense itching, a single or cluster of 'bumps' in the genital/anal region and thighs which may be very small. Maybe a burning sensation.
You can only get clarity from getting seen by a doctor though
Are there any other symptoms I can check for? because I don't see any warts anywhere on or inside my penis, I'm so confused could it really be genital warts?
Hello. Oral sex is a really really rare way of transmitting HPV, and warts inside the urethra are rare too. If when you urinate it is coming out in two streams then it MAY be genital warts.
Also, your life won't be ruined, people become immune to the virus (like a cold) in 6 - 24 months and low risk hpv does not cause any health problems. So even if you have got it, it will be okay. This dosen't sound related to other STDs, but just incase you should get checked for everything. Herpes usually manifest themselves as painful blisters that pop and then crust over.
Discharge isn't associated with HPV either. Get checked to be sure. You pose a higher immunity rate if you get the warts treated as soon as they appear and live a healthy lifestyle.
