If I have HPV, what should i do to avoid infecting my girlfriend?

Just posted another thread about my worry of HPV yesterday, I've decided to go get HPV test tmr becuz I'm really worried about getting my girlfriend infected.
It sounds pretty rare for man to get tested for this virus right?
If the result turns out to be positive, what should i do with my sex life to avoid infecting my girlfriend? (I never have any genital warts)

What do you mean you are going to go get tested for HPV?  There is no test for HPV for men.  The only way you could ever know for sure that you have HPV is if you develop genital warts.  If you have never had genital warts, then there is no way of knowing whether or not you have/had HPV.

Also, regardless of your relationship status, the virus will clear within two years.  You are referring to the ping-pong effect that doesn't exist.  You can't keep infecting yourself/your girlfriend with the same virus over and over again any more than you can give chicken pox to someone else, then have them give it back to you.  Once you develop antibodies for your particular HPV strain, it doesn't matter how many times you are exposed to it, you'll have immunity.

i know the virus usually can be clear within 2years, but since i'm in stable relationship with my girlfriend and we have sex on regular basis, there's possibility of persistent infection. What should i do to avoid persistent infection?
