Lesion Excision

I just had a lesion taken off of my vagina right by the opening. It freakin hurts, which was expected, but does anyone have any experience with this and some ideas for what would help? And is it ok for me to maybe take a bath or is that a bad idea? I didn't think to ask the doc and the office is closed now.

Thanks so much for your reply. I finally ended up taking some tylenol pm to go to sleep, that helped quite a bit. I am feeling much better now and I don't have the pain I was feeling that night, everythig seems to be healing nicely.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
You should wash the area only when your treating doctor advises. Regarding treatment, wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
