one more concern! HELP

So to get things straight... I DO NOT AT ALL NEED TO WORRY OR THINK I HAVE HPV because i gave oral sex to a guy for less than a few minutes who does have it. I will not get HPV of the mouth or of the genitals? Is that correct! I'm on the verge or relief here!!! t

to somehat: Your right that she probably is ok..BUT there is a test for oral HPV...it can be done by a dentist (just like an oncologist can test for anal hpv) The tests for HPV aren't just for the cancerous strains. You can be tested for low (wart causing) or high (increase risk for certain cancers)..and some doctors (though few) can even test you for the specific strain.

Yes, bare with me. It is because I am in a foreign country that I have to get these answers as I cannot go to an ''American'' clinic. So it is very safe to say that 1. I DO NOT have it in my mouth. 2. I WILL NOT get HPV whatsoever. 3. There is no way that by giving oral sex the way I did for the little amount of time I did with I end with GENITAL WARTS. I guess I understand that it is possible to get it through giving oral sex to someone who has it. I just want to be assured that through that little thing that happened, I will not at all get HPV to begin with nor with would it be in my mouth or on my gentials. My boyfriend's friend came down before being deployed else where and was kind of watching out over me. Long story short he gets me very drunk and forces me to perform oral sex on him. I freaked out and left and this is the situation I am in. I guess I just want to be 100% positive that when he comes home, we can go about our normal intimate life together as we are already dealing with what happened anyway.

Do not worry. Like I said, VERY unlikely to be contracted in your mouth. Let's just play the Devil's advocate and say that you do have HPV in your mouth: until you develop a wart there is nothing you can do about it and no way you could ever know. There is no oral test for HPV. The only approved tests for HPV are for a select few cancerous causing strains that affect the female genital region. Even further, if you did contract HPV in your mouth it is possible for your immune system to rid your body of the virus within 6 months to a year. HPV and genital warts are not as bad as the social stigma would allow you to believe and is not a FOREVER thing. The social stigma comes from a lack of knowledge. This is not worth stressing over! Don't worry about it. If you are that worried just maintain an extra healthy lifestyle! Workout, eat well, just do things that will help you maintain a healthy immune system and you might even fend off the swine flu while you are at it!
