abnormal test after a colposcopy

Hi, I wanted to know if you need to have a colposcopy everytime you have an abnormal pap smear.
Last year I had my first abnormal pap smear and was diagnosed with hpv, and my doctor had me get a colposcopy and I had a biopsy.
I just had my repeat pap smear and it came back low grade abnormal again.  Will I have to get another colposcopy or is it just cuz i have hpv?
*my fiance is the only sexual partner i have had and  i was 21 when i became sexually active.
**i have atypical squamous cells

There's several different strands of HPV, and it usually takes about 2 years for the immune system to kick in and clear you of the virus. Think of it like the common cold... it is possible to contract it a again. If it's only been a year I'd say it's still the same as before. Were you ever treated for it?
My doctor took three samples during my colposcopy and treated it with cryosurgery a week later...
