Planned Parenthood Misdiagnosis?
okay, so this is what happen to me December 2016. i was having abnormal bleeding, and i had never had a pap smear nor abnormal bleeding. I went in to PP and had a pap. during that time i had a trip to mexico, so i received a call from pp saying my pap was abnormal and that meant i had HPV, and i need to get treated, i ask the person who called me a lot of questions and she did not know how to answer any of them. So then i called again to talk to another person and she told me that when abnormal paps happen it means im positive for HPV, which is bs because yeast infections, inflammation, and other things make abnormal paps. Anyways, i decided to get another pap during my stay in mexico with a private practice GYNO. i did the pap and everything came back normal but with inflammation of the cervix due to sex. and they actually tested me for HPV and was negative, and trich also negative and for so many other things. the GYNO told me i had a vaginal infection and she gave suppositories for 14 days to treat the infection.after that i did not have abnormal bleeding whats so ever. when i got home from mexico i got a letter from pp saying my pap was abnormal and that i should get checked because it can be HPV it never said i was positive for hpv. has this ever happen to anyone?
i forgot to add, the gyno in mexico gave me the results of my pap and a picture of my cells.
