Please help- bump unchanged for 6 months until now.

About 6 months ago one very small  soft flesh colored bump on my labia appeared. It was painless and did not itch. I have had a papsmear and been to the GYN and the gyn said that everything was normal.

It remained unchanged until about a week ago when I noticed that it was bigger. A few days later it seemed to have a white head on it. I put one small dab of benzoyl peroxide on it two days ago. Yesterday it was dry and flakely and I was able to gently scrape off the top.

Today it is raw and sore and has some pus. It almost resembles a canker sore.

Please please tell me what this sounds like

Thank you :)

It turns out that the lump was caused by a damaged hair follicle with scar tissue underneath and when it became raw it got infected thus causing the pus.

If the doc doesn't think it was a wart, it probably isn't.

If there is pus I would recommend seeing a doctor to make sure you don't have a serious infection.

To diagnose the lesion, consider seeing a dermatologist.
