risk of spreading hpv

About 7 yrs ago I had 2 small condyloma's removed from right inside my anus and at first I was checked every 6 months for any other occurrences and have had none. I had the Gardasil shot just after the procedure. I've not had any partners since then. I just recently had unprotected sex with another man and was so into the moment I forgot about my HPV status. I was reading something today that popped up on my desk and it reminded me about my HPV status. I want to know how good a chance is it that he will have it now. I know I need to address the issue with him but I've not been able to find anything on a test that he can take to see if he was exposed. I would like some type of answers ready for any question he might have.
