Thanks a lot. I take it you have had the same oral hpv concerns I have. What was the name of the oral hpv test u took. I know it's a long shot but I can't help feeling I have oral cancer.
If you google "oral hpv test", you will see what test I took. Its the first topic found by Google. I didn't think I had oral cancer. I had throat and mouth issues which went away by themselves. Unfortunately, there is no FDA approved test to determine who has oral HPV. The test results I got were negative but after the dentist asked me to take it again six months later, I knew the test was a waste of money.
If you feel like you want to be tested for some peace of mind, go ahead but I cannot recommend it. A visit to an oral surgeon for any bumps or an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor will provide better care. But without a FDA approved test, a diagnosis from a medical professional like an ENT is the best. Here is a good link to read up on Oral HPV and cancer.
