Reccuring infections

I've been having recurring infections for some time now (say about 6 yrs); just recently after my second C-section i asked the doctor to insert an IUD since the Pill was just making it worse, he was reluctant at first but eventually he inserted it(he personally doesn't feel comfortable using this method with young women he says, i'm 29). It's been a month now and my infection is back, what can i do to remove it once and for all, is the IUD a good contraceptive for someone with my condition; will i be able to eradicate this infections without having to remove it( i am really comfortable with it and i am afraid that he will ask me to take it out, i really don't like the pill).
Regards.

I doubt this is at all related to HPV.  Antibiotics at times can cause thrush, so perhaps this may have caused your thrush part of the time.  The "pimple" may be a herpes sore, but the only way to know is to see a doctor and get it cultured right away.  I would recommend you and your boyfriend both do this.  I doubt herpes would have a foul smell though, but I would stay on the safe side and get tested to rule it out.  I would try posting this to the STD board if you haven't.  Auntie Jessie on the STD board will be able to answer your questions with more certainty.

for the past 6 yrs on and of i've been having a funny foul smelling and greenish (sometimes lumpy) discharge which was diagnosed many times as a fungal infections (sometimes candidiase, others chlamydia) and it gives me thrush, i have taken a number of antibiotics (mainly clotrimazol i think it's called) in creams or ovules. but lately i have been getting a pimple outside my vagina which is sore and after say about 2 or 3 days it bursts and some watery liquid comes out leaving an open wound which hurts; my husband has one of these sores at the moment near the anus he has had these before on the penis (nearer the tip on the sides) these also have a foul smell.

What infection are you specifically referring to?  Do you have high risk HPV?  Have you been having recurrent wart outbreaks for 6 years?  A little more specificity is needed.
