Reoccuring outbreaks of genital warts?

I recently tested positive for genital warts. I'm pretty sure I know where they came from...and I've had them since prolly october of 2009. I finally found out thats what I had in January of 2010. I started getting them treated, and I've been in twice now and had the warts removed by cutting them off, then burning them. And I have used aldera cream. But everybody talks about how within a year or two your body clears them...or once they are removed, most people dont have the warts that come back. But I just had my second round where I had them removed about a month ago...and they are back again. This would be the 3rd time, some in the same spots, and some in different spots. This is mentally stressing me, and makes me very very self conscious. Why do these keep coming back, and what can I do to get rid of them? I have a new person in my life who knows about my hpv, but until these are gone, I'm not comfortable with having a sexual relationship...and like I said, it makes me very very very self conscious....I need answers!! Please!!

I have been going through the same thing , I had at least 5-6 treatments of tca and cyro but they just keep returning ...and this point I am going to stop treating them because I just get them back in a week or two so why have scars !!!! It is very upseting but at this point theres nothing else I can do besides wait ... and hope they will go away real soon .
So good luck and hang in there cause I know how you feel ...

It takes time you gotta be patient. You already know it takes up to 2 years normally. Believe me I know your pain I'm on year 1. It sucks!
