Vitamins and Supplements

I am a pretty active person who was diagnosed with genital warts 6 months ago. I take a multi vitamin as well as L-Arginine, Zinc and Saw Palmetto. I was wondering if anyone has any concrete evidence that the L-Arginine especially has any negative effects on my condition (causes/exacerbates) breakouts etc. I also currently use vitamin E liquid topically and have been trying to live as healthy a life style as possible. I like taking the L-arginine for the muscle building properties but I am willing to stop taking it if it makes my HPV worse.

I don't know about L-Arginine and its effects on genital warts.  I think the biggest concern with it would be if you had a heart condition.  Living a healthy lifestyle is the first step to getting rid of the warts.  As far as supplements go, have you looked into Papillex? The ingredients are based on Naturopathic protocols for HPV and has a lot of good ingredients (green tea extract, carotenoids, sulphorophane, astragalus, reishi, selenium, folic acid, vitamin c and e). I heard about it from a friend and was just wondering if anyone has tried it and what they've found.

Hello there,

Vitamins are always (not specific to HPV or any other discomfort) supplements, meaning that they are trying to help you but they will never be a cure for you. You should see a specialist and get treatment before they become worse. There are several treatment options and I am sure one of them will be the cure for you, but not the vitamines.
