one and half year back I did fingering for 10 secs and oral sex for 20 seconds without any protection on a girl met in a party. I tested for everything and came with negative result including HSV1and2. Now looking at all posts I am really really frightened about catching HPV of all 30 strains in my mouth bcz I never had vaginal/anal sex. I am now getting married to a nice girl who is virgin. I do not want to give her oral and genital hpv. what should I do??? so faar I have not had any bump or sore in mouth and genital but who knows for what will happen in future. I am crying.....

Well no...the vac would protect you from the strains that have the highest risk of cancer risks as well as some that cause warts. Getting vac's is a very personal choice. You know your choice in life in regards to sex so really there is no reason for you to get it. Unless you think there is any risk your soon to be wife has had any small exposures sexually, like skin to skin grinding, or if you think there is any chance you may not be married forever. I am not suggesting anything only telling you what I would my own child. Better safe than sorry. Relationships and marriage are hard and no one is perfect. I also would hope you not expect such perfection from yourself as that sets us up to fail. Sexuality is a wonderful part of life. Don't beat yourself up, rather learn from what you see as a mistake and move on without guilt. Good luck on your upcoming marriage and enjoy your wedding night!!!

I strongly believe you as it has to be the plan of government and other biomedical companies just to push their products in the market. My doctor suggested me to get vaccinated for HPV but I am strongly against of it as it may damage my immune system. I think it a fraud just like swine flue.

I agree with Vandykd3's post. Your worries are very very few. Be sensible when it comes to sex does not mean to avoid sex. We would not be here right?

There are far more dangerous things that risk your life compared to HPV and oral sex. The right wing conservatives and the drug company pushing Gardasil want to make you paranoid.

It should also be mentioned that the behavior you engaged in is almost laughably low risk.  Certainly not worth anything more than a passing thought.  As Mags pointed out, even if you did get it, which I'd be shocked if you had, your body will have dealt with it by now and if it hasn't, then it almost has and certainly would by marriage time.  It's all good my man.

u know I am against of any sexual contact before marriage but looking at that exposure I cheated myself ethically plus from health point of view. How I was so dumb to do this!!!

That girl was my friend;s friend and was sexually active. So it is fair to assume that she was carrying certain strains at that time. I just touched my tip of tongue to lower side of her private part. I don know whether amount of area plus time play any role in catching oral HPV.

First you don't know you have been exposed to any strains of HPV so there is no reason to freak out. :) Even if you were exposed you have had no symptoms and most people clear HPV within 24 months. This means you carry those strains the rest of your life but rarely do people have future issues once their immune system has cleared it. By the time you marry and have sex there will be even less of a risk factor for you.

All in all I think you should not stress about this. Move forward with you marriage and have a happy life. If either of you ever do have HPV symptoms it is very common, there are some rare cases of virgins having had it and it doesn't often cause serious health risks.

I think maybe you are making yourself feel a bit of guilt for this very brief sexual experience and you shouldn't.
