Warts or not?

I'd say I have a active sex life but a very protective sex life. I never have sex with anyone with a condom. I been with my girl for 5 years on and off. We broke up in the summer of 2010. She had a few flings and so did I but I didnt sleep with anyone with being protected. She had sex with a guy twice and might have caught something. She has no symptoms but I all of a sudden have some wart looking bumps growing in my pubic region, not on my penis. The weird thing is me and her have unprotected sex so if it was anything it would be all over my penis right?

I got tested for STDs before I got back with her to be sure and it came back clean, actually the one I got a couple weeks ago came back clean as well. I have nothing but my doctor is telling me that I might have warts. It wouldnt shock me that happened in the area that the condom didnt cover that I might have HPV. Couldnt it be follicitis, it doesnt make much sense that I have it and my girl doesnt especially when we do it unprotected. What gives?

Damn good news, I did the vinegar test twice. No whiteness in sight, what a relief. I'm still gonna go ahead and get them removed but at least I can stop worrying about it spreading to others. Thanks so much!

Put some vinegar on them and see if they turn white. This test is not reliable but it does provide clues. Yes, it could be follicitis. That a doctor told you they may be warts means it could be that too. That your GF doesn't have them is a good sign but it could also be that her immune system is stronger than yours. Only removal and biopsy can confirm what it is and isn't.

So no chance it can be follicitis? Or anything that comes from using a bad razor? From shaving to the skin? Over masturbation? Constant fabric rubbing against that region?

General warts can also show up in the pubic are. Get them removed and biopsied so you know. Will probably be the same strain that she has.

So yes we should probably get her tested to be certain. So even though they show up in my pubic area does it really mean its genital warts or can it be something else?

Warts can be anywhere on a body, even places that are covered by a condom and places not used for sex (ex: leg, back, head, chest). Some people are getting anal warts without ever having anal sex too. Unless your girl has been tested, how do you know she isn't infected too? Not everyone gets warts, some people with strong immune systems never show systems of the same virus strain that produces warts. This doesn't mean that they don't have it.
