Hi Roses,
I see that you have the high risk strain but no abnormal cells. as you can see from the documentation I sent you, I dont think you need to worry about passing this to your children. If you have no evidence of the warts, I wouldnt be concerned with you children having developing any type of oral lesions as you (for lack of evidence) dont have the strains that could cause oral cancers like the wart causing types. You have a virus that is hiding out in your body just like about 80% of the sexual population and will likely (by the odds I have been reading) will not develop into cancer. If on the off chance it does, it is a very slow growing cancer and highly treatable. Human beings have all kinds of latent viruses in their bodies be they colds, flus or even chicken pox (varicella) which is why some people develop shingles later in life). And its just luck or unluck of the draw if symptoms reveal themselves or not. The only way you can pass this is sexually and this strain that you appear to have is asymptomatic in men. If you have a monogamous loving relationship, there is no furthur danger to either of you or your children.
I was diagnosed with hpv, (genital warts) about 5 months ago. I know what you are going through. You cant spred hpv except through sexual contact. You cant spread it by kissing yor kids, and it doesnt make you a bad person. You can only spread it through sex, not effection. Dont block the affection, you need it right now.
