hpv oral warts....

i recently was diagnosed with genital warts,and now i can feel what feels like a lump in my throat. it seems to get a little better when i take allergy medicine but i can still feel it,can someone please help me..what are symptoms what would it feel like?  i am very concerned and i dont have insurance so its hard to choose which dr. to go to,i have a dermatologist appt on thursday for the genital warts but they said i need a different dr for my throat please help me...

It is unlikely to be oral HPV because it is so rare. There aren't really any symptoms, maybe a lump like you describe, a hoarse voice? But even if you did have those symptoms, they can be symptoms of lots of other things.

I recently had a papilloma removed from my tonsil. My ENT dr. removes 1 or 2 a month from his client pool. For me, the papilloma had no feeling other than interfering with my swallowing. I went to the Dr. because of a sore throat deep down at my vocal chords which was most likely caused by GERD. I have a photo in my page.
