HPV makes me scratch my head!
My day job is substance abuse counselor for the past 23 years.I encounter many men and women of all ages who have unprotected sex with MANY different people.We do thorough questioning for the sexual behavior part of psych social hx here for many alcoholics/addicts have propensity for std's.I have encountered a few with hx of hpv warts and chalymydia but most not reporting hx of std's or HPV.And the girls report having yearly paps for the most part with no hpv...yet...maybe thats the magic word...yet!One lady who is client of mine was part of a porn ring..said she had unprotected sex with well over a 100 men and husband had tons of partners.No std's or HPV on paps.Feeling slightly resentful ladies?Me 2!Why is this?I don't know xactly and the docs probably would say the same thing.This is what i b-lieve one should b-lieve.Evaluate ur own individual situation.Take all the information out there on HPV and see how it fits for u.I will never believe that in 24 years of clean paps and 10 years of celibacy my HPV popped out of dormancy.My x whom i broke my celibacy with always boasted never using a condom in his life...i feel in my heart i got it from him even tho i b-lieve he lied about not having sex for 3 years.So weigh ur own situation...be honest...and sort/sift thru all this info.The bottom line is taking care of ur health and doing ur best to prevent a re-occurence!

How interesting..do they do this for it means less work for them?And how do u find out how they did the test and will the info u receive be accurate?or will u get an answer in order to placate u?My paps are read by Labcorp not the hospital.Same deal with them?
I know this for a fact as a cytotechnologists revealed this to me. They currently have the HPV testing automated and purposely set it beyond normal reading, this way they do not have to pull so many for "human eye" exams. don't believe it if your test comes out negative. Find out how they are doing the tests...I was told the hospital is just going on the chance it will not be noticed..and they can "take the hit" if they are discoved and sued.
Maybe dormant girl formany of these people....this HPV is such a mysterious thing.The one gal who was doing the home porn was in prison for 6 years.Had sex with one woman.Came out and no sex for 3 yrs until now and using condoms.Went to doc and specifically asked for pap(upon my urging) with HPV factor in it..it came out clean much to her joy!I was happy for her for she has worked hard to change her life.And these other lil gals know what it is....i think most paps today are combining the thin prep test for the HPV factor.....i was having them for 4 years prior and now!well alas....we have learned a lot...much more learning to go.....my man is loungeing on the sofa with his tongue hanging out of his mouth...all 4 legs up in air waiting for his supper!Enjoy my dear!))))))
They definitely have it, it's either just dormant or they haven't been tested correctly. If they are getting the old pap test, that one doesn't test for HPV. Actually only 5% of people with HPV will get a bad pap and the scary thing is that most people will not test positive for HPV even though they have it. I don't test positive for it anymore either but once you have it, you have it for life. I believe it's unavoidable unless you live on an island all by yourself and are never touched by another human being. Who wants that??? I need my man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well they just might have it dear...it ain't come out yet!the one gal with with porn deal was all home movies...she wasn't in the industry and just had recent pap with HPV screen-it was negative!she's been sober 6 years doing very well overall.....sed she never used a condom in her life til now!and i believe her cuz i've known her 3 years now!so this is the mystery of this girl....these young lil gals coming in here may have it...many go to PP'hood and get their paps so i think some day it will come around.Several say warts years ago...but many shake their head no....yes they could be lying but the report is no at this point.....its all baffling 2 a degree!
I am SURE that the men and women you see have HPV. You can't have sex with that many people an not get it. Heck, even people who have only had one partner get it. They do have it Ibizan, either they are lieing about their paps, or they weren't tested for HPV or their HPV is in dormancy but they do have it. Especially the one in the porn industry. There is no way they don't have HPV.
