I am so sad and extremley stresses over this . I keep reading that it can go away but then a doctor will tell me a diffrent story .... I am also concerned about it being in the mouth !!! Has anyone had it in the mouth !!!!! any thoughts , anyone ........ thanks

Thanks , that made me feel alot better !! I went back to the gyn and she thought I responded well to the first treatment and gave me a second treatment of the acid today just to give me piece of mind cause she knows I am stressed ....My real problem is that Im married seperated over a year and was with 1 person  in this time , now trying to work out my marriage havent had sex with husband in 1 1/2 years I have this and I know I caused it !!! He will not understand or forgive me if he finds out nor do i want to put him at risk of getting it .... I had a mild case as far as appearence I guess thats why it took so many doctors to finally get a diagnosis but I was itching and burning and extremly uncomfortable for the last 7 months and I started to feel this 5 days after my encounter the doctors all thought I was crazy !!! guess not ...So I would never want to put someone at risk and have them have the pain I have been going through in the last 7 months it makes these acid treatments feel like a walk in the park with what i was feeling .....otherwise If I wasnt trying  to work out  married I wouldnt be stressing like this ..

Hi there,
Id just like to say its not all bad! I had warts over 2yrs ago, I had quite a few, but I had 2 treatments and never seen them again! The doctors said I responded well and now they say its more than likely Iv cleared the virus! I eat healthy, stopped smoking, try stay relaxed, I on the move alot, so fairly active I guess, but no healthy/fitness fundi. I do take multi vitamins. I met an AMAZING man this year, telling him was the hardest thing Iv ever had to do, but he was like "its your past and it doesnt matter to me!" We are very happy together and he has been wonderful!
Just a lil positivity for the both of you! over 2yrs is a long time, why is your doctor not trying another treatment??? It clearly isnt working, chryo was what I did and "puff" gone!!!!
Warts of the mouth are pretty rare, but possible.
Well good luck to you both, hope you get cured fast and feel better soon.
Take care:)

Hi, I just joined this group, and I have been battling this beast for 2 1/2 years.  So far they keep coming back every month.  So I go to the Doctor and get them painted with some kind of acid.  Now I have noticed similar looking bumps on the sides of my tongue and the very back of the mouth, I think they are oral warts.  I feel for you, because I am furious this happened to me.  All this happened because my husband of 23 yrs.  went out and had an affair with a questionable woman.  I have been thinking of giving Viralfree a try, but I want to see the mouth specialist first to see what is what.  I found Viralfree under top genital wart cures.  It says it is FDA approved.  Isn't this just lovely these things called Genital Warts?

How long ago did you find out and how many times has the warts appeared???? I am currently trying to quit smoking and just started vitamins ..The gyn is treating it with acid ..my first round was last week .  I also have been seeing an ent reguarding my throat and mouth issues and I am also seeing a GI doctor who is doing an endoscopy this week, I hope this hasn't gone to my throat but I have horrible luck !!! and what a price to pay just for having sex ... 1 time with a condom ... but in a sense I guess I am slightly lucky because he is also positive for hsv2 which I didnt get ..... Thank god !!!!

Hello,
Well the reason it took so long is because my paps and hpv high and low came back negative three times in the last 8 month and from what my new gyn says is that I am a atypical case which basically mean my symtoms are diffrent than most and the warts are flat ...it really just looks like a rash !!! but after they finally  did a biopsy  that was the results :(  . I think i am more upset it took so long for them to diagosis it than the actual results . 8 months of fear and not knowing really took a hugh toll on me and I am trying to get back to being me again......

dont worry I also have hpv take multi vits and if u smoke cut back warts can take a long time to go away i recommend getting them frozen off it hurts but so worth it and dont have sex when u have a wart they will spread like wildfire!!! I am currently having throat issues dont know if it is related to hpv but you are a high risk for throat cancer having the hpv virus just be careful!!
