You do not have to take my word for it, by all means believe what you want to believe. If you have a verruca on your foot, you can pass that onto people and they too could get verrucas. Verrucas are not genital warts, they are two different things, from two different strains. Go to a doctor and find out for yourself or post in the doctors forum for $20. Also genital warts are not spread through anything other than genital to genital contact.
I hope you're sure about this, because I'm not and I'm starting to crack up. And my mum just cleaned the bathroom and she used the same cloth to clean the toilet as she used to clean the shower which I had just been in with my verucca. So now someone who uses that toilet could potentially get genital warts if you are wrong. And I do not want to inflict that upon my family.
Well that's not entirely true, since it is the same virus after all, although you are correct it's not the same strain :) curious fact , there a some reported cases in the US where after admnistration of Gardasil other cutaneous warts had a significant decrease in size and number, and even disappearing altogether, still more clinical trials are required for a clear assessment.
The warts found on the body are not the same as the ones found in the genitals. Warts on the body are not caused by the same strain and are not sexually transmitted. Verrucas are usually found on the foot and have no link to genital warts. Verrucas are easy to catch, adults and children can pick them up quite easily however genital warts are a different strain of a wart virus and are only passed on through sexual contact, and can only be found in the genital areas and mouth.
Hi, thanks very much for your reply. Are you absolutely sure there's no link? Because I thought that warts on your body could be transmitted to other parts of your body so why not the genitals? I don't care about myself I just don't want to hurt anyone else, I love my family and my boyfriend and I want to protect them. Things have been really bad lately and so I'm currently trying to get a doctors appointment to talk to a doctor about all this. Thanks again.
Verucca's and genital warts are not the same thing. You cannot get genital warts from verucca's, you can only get verucca's from coming into contact with someone who also has a verucca. Veruccas are not sexually transmitted either. Genital warts are only pased by genital-genital contact with an infected person and sometimes oral sex, never from towels, touching surfaces, kissing etc. Your fears are irrational and there is absolutely no link between veruccas and genital warts, I can't stress that enough. Theres no need to keep cleaning clothes or being paranoid because it can only be passed through sexual activity.
