HPV spreading to other parts of body?

I haven't had an outbreak of warts since 2009, after I had them removed surgically. They are inside my anus when I had them, so were difficult to observe. Recently I have had itching spasms in my anal area. But this was after I had a trauma to my anus and it bled.  And when the symptons came about I first thought HPV is back.

I think I may have tore my rectal wall, and its caused a fissure quite far up. I have examined the area, there is no wart like bumps. Only one hairline red cut, and further up is a white bump with a red slit in it. Also loads of dark blue bulging hemerroids as well.

After I touched it I was panicking so much about having hpv virus on my hands and then spreading to my face, lips and other parts of my body. It's caused so much anxiety, I'm afraid to touch things with my hands now in case of giving to others and to other parts of my body, especially my lips. I washed my hands many times after touching the anus.

It's funny because since then hpv hasn't bothered me and quite frankly lived happily without it crossing my mind. And I have giving up smoking and drinking so I'm healthier. Now it's on my mind 24/7.

this really isn't a valid worry. you aren't spreading hpv all over your body.

were you seen and had your anal area looked at?

I have read HPV that manifests on the genitals/anus... is not the same type that manifests on the rest of the body. Pretty much... though it's slightly tough to get a 100% correct answer!

I would still wash and just be cautious after you examine your areas, just be reasonably clean
