What is an Exophytic Lesion?

I had a sub total hysterectomy in '03. Since May of '09 I have had bleeding, pain, diagnosed with FibroMyalgia and OA,  I experience alot of pain as it is and my left shoulder is a primary source of pain. My physical therapist says the shoulder is a source of "referred pain" and "often a sign of a systemic source". I have an exohpytic lesion found "near the left ovary" on the two ultrasounds I have had as well as a hemorahgic cyst within the right ovary. also i have had multiple nodules in the left breast with frequent mammo's to keep an eye on them-last mammo & ultrasound last week showed two new nodules-one just behind left nipple and one deep in the left pec muscle. Recently lab work showed leuk est 1+,squam.epith=moderate, mpv 5.9, ALT & Ast 109 & 68. What is an exophytic lesion? secondly, does all this info combined send up any "red flags" that I should be concerned about....should i have any particular follow up tests etc...? thanks for everyones time...
