Hysterectomy side effects ?

Hi

I've had a hysterectomy nearly 6 months ago and showed an allergic reaction to Heparin under the procedure (bled profusely) - after the op however I have started to itch - forarms and legs - so much so that I scratch myself open and acutally bleed from all the scratching - I have never had a allergy before and have always had perfect skin and wondered it this itching is related to the op or the Anaesthetic or something completely different.
Thanks

I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago, believe me my skin is not the same. Rashes, rashes and more rashes

No they did not - although I bled a lot - all the blood got trapped under my skin - the wound eventually opened about 2 cm and the blood oozed through it for nearly 4 weeks.

Did they give you blood transfusion? Maybe reaction to that...if they did.
