I'm with Cherie on this one,you are way too you and without a medical reason they won't do a hysterectomy a your age.And insurances won't pay either.
I had my 1st child at 21 and my 3rd and last at 32..I knew I was done after that but insurance wouldn't pay so I had a tubal ligation instead. For he next 13 months I bled(maybe had 2 weeks total where there was no blood at all) and still the insurance said no until I was on BC pill after BC pill and had 2 D&Cs,then exactly 1 yr and 1 month after the birth of my son they agreed to pay.
My best advice is change what you are using ,as hysterectomy sounds like a perfect solution but there are reason they don't give them to young women b/c even with hormone therapy there are other things in the body are effected when a body part/organ is removed.

Hi and welcome to MH, Im so sorry your thinking of a hysterectomy as a form of birth control, your frustrated and dealing with a toddler can be quite a job, I know you likely wont like what I am about to say but I must be honest, ok, first off your too young, I am 99 % sure no doctor would consent to a hysterectomy for you with out a serious medical diagnosis, second you dont know what the future has in store for you , you may decide later to have more children. Look into a differect type of birthcontol if your unhappy with the current one..all the best, Cherie
