I'm 22 have adenomyosis

I was in the er just a few day ago and they did a vagninal ultrasound . It showed thaty uterus was midly heterogenous and that it measured 8.3 x4.1, etc . It also showed that on my right ovary I have a paraovarian cyst and my left ovary I have a cyst . And I saw my obgyn back on march 4 and age told me that i may have adenomyosis . What does this all mean ? Is having a paraovarian cyst dangerous ? And by the measurements of my uterus does that means it's somewhat enlarged ? What's going on with me ? Can someone help me ! Plz . Would this mean I would need surgery ? I'm only 22 yrs old and a mother of 2 bby girls .

Hi well I had adenomyosis was reason for my hysterectomy. To the very best of my knowledge the way to diagnosis this is a diagnostic laproscopic. I had this procedure...they jus make 4 tiny 1/4 inch incisions insert rods distend abdomen and they can tell exactly what is happenening.   Andeno is not dangerous other than it can comprimise bladder did in my case uterus was attached to bladder....andeno menad thick, boogey spongey uterus it will "fall" and you likely already feel need to urinate more often.Yes uterus is enlarged to be expected with this condition its almost always like in upper 99.9% begnine. No worries other than the surgery is a hard recover not cause of the andeo just any hysterectomy is.
Hi! Paraovarian cysts are not actually ovarian, they are usually located along side the ovaries or on the fallopian tubes but they are often hard to distinguish from the ovarian cysts. If they are small and don’t cause any trouble, they are hard to notice, the only way to do so is with the transvaginal examination. They are often mistaken for ovarion cysts.
These cysts are not so common but do appear. They make 10% of all the masses in the adnexal region (ovaries and tubes)

i think chances are likely you will need surgery. Please try not to be afraid, when you find out what exactly what type of surgery you need I promise to  help you I have been cl here for 2 plus years and I will walk you through what ever happens with good pre and post op help...pm me with any concerns and advice.

big hugs

cherie

read up on DaVinci Robotic assisted hysterectomy....to the very best of my knowledge andeno is only helped by one other method its a chemically induced menopause , they can sometimes use birth control pills but most likely will try Leupron an injecti

on,,I here more bad than good side effects , including severe depression and weepiness.

think things over write them down take w you to drs write answers to questions...plz see a neurologist atleast for a consult
