It does take awhile to start feeling like yourself after the surgery. Remember that your still healing though and you need to take things easy.
I know several people that have had knee replacement surgery. My step dad is getting ready to have that surgery. He had a hip replacement a few years ago and did really well with it. Of course he needed help and lots of rest for awhile.
Remind me when your surgeon wants to do your surgery again. It's the middle of February is'nt it?
If that's so, it might still be too soon. You need at least 6 weeks to recover from the hysterectomy.
Maybe this time you won't have the dizziness! Lets keep our fingers crossed.
Of course we'll be here with you threw all of it.
Your doing the right thing by asking your Dr a gazillion questions. You need to know what to expect.

if it took me 2 wks to improve on dizziness after lap/hysterectomy/SBO, any ideas how long the dizziness will last w/ a total knee replacement?  Yesterday (12 days afters surgery) was the first day I've felt like myself.  I need to be PREPARED before surgery of what exactly to expect, not afterward....when I'm really going to be a pain in the neck calling and asking questions!
any words of advice would help .. thanks.
yes, I'm calling the orthro dr with a gazillion questions tomorrow.
