Natural hormones

I had a partial hysterectomy 2 months ago. Having lot of headaches, back and legs. sweating at night, but not sure if this has anything to do with my surgery but a do no that I did not have any of this before so, I assume that is related. Do a need to take hormones?  If I do, I'm looking information regarding natural hormones. Also have a cyst 4.2 (forms before hysterectomy) now, if this cyst grow what are the chances of having surgery again?

Hopping everybody is OK.

Thanks for everything.

I just had a hysterectomy myself.  Ovaries intact.  I have had two migraine headaches since surgery.  I also was sweating like crazy, but this has subsided.  I am trying to figure out if it is related to hormones as well.  I have had my migraines under control for years 2 per year until now. I recently had my hormone level checked as well as my thyroid.  This test was normal.  I am not a dr. but the Uterus has some function in hormone control, but it is minimal.  As long as your overies are intact you should not need hormones.  However, as we age these levels go down.  Many people are confused regarding these surgeries.  A partial hyst-removal of cervis, a total hyst-removal of cervix and Uterus, and a Total hyst with Oophrectomy is removal of cervix, removal of Uterus and removal of ovaries.  I am just telling you this because when I decided to do it, I wanted it done right.  Hope you get some relief soon.

I just had a complete hysterectomy.  The doc told me that if at least 1 ovary was left in, there would be no need for hormone replacement therapy.  But I had cysts on both and lots of scar tissue. So leaving one in was not a option. The ovaries are where your hormones come from. If you have 1 or even both, and are not comfortable by now, you should probably talk to your doc.  This could just be stress from  worrying about there being something wrong.  You you get to feeling better soon.  God Bless!
