I think the thickness of the endometrial stripe really depends on where you are in your cycle I have heard up to 12-15mm in the late stage is normal. I would think a biopsy would be appropriate. I know I had a thickness of 4mm one week after my period, 12mm and 15mm later it my cycle. I had a biopsy and it wasn't too bad. Just in case you've heard horror stories. My reg. gyn. did it right in her office. I hope you will be able to save an ovary! Is the anemia from heavy bleeding? Good luck and keep us posted.
The anemia is from heavy bleeding. I am worried about the biopsy. So many stories about the in office procedure vs hospital. My US was done a week after my cycle. Hopefully I will be able to save my ovary for hormonal reasons.
Thanks for responding.
I have cysts on both one 2.9cmm, the other 5MM also have 3.0 uterine fibroid and a 7MM Nabothian cyst on cervix, I am 51 and also have chronic liver disease. I am scheduled for a complete Laproscopic hysterectomy on May12th. I watched a a medical video online, seems recovery may be quicker, but it still freaks me out and I am so worried. I was hoping I could find someone who haa had this type of procedure, and your the first person who has at least some of my symptoms. good luck to you and if anyone has any info to pass on thanks in advance.
