Pain frollowing Rectole

Please can you tell me if Chronic pain in the lower part of the pelvic floor when defacating is normal following surgery for rectole and cystole and hysterectomy (all vaginally).  It is now 3 weeks since the operation and despite eating plenty of fibre, fish oil and a Senopod each night I am only able to go every 4 days with a great deal of tummy pain which is unbearable.

You need to see your Dr. I would say that it is not normal to be having chronic pain. It could be caused by the constipation or it could be something else. Your Dr can also give you a prescription med for the constipation.
I wish I could be of more help but you really need to get into to see your Dr to find out what's going on. Take care. Remar
