Thank you, for your help. I did have endometriosis when I was in my twenty's and I had to have the lesions removed using Laparoscopic surgery from numerous organs and areas. I then when I was 20, had 1 child. Then 2 years later I had my periods so heavy and continuously back to back that I became very Anemic and weak that I almost died. My OBGYN had to do a (almost) complete Hysterectomy, leaving only my Cervix and one ovary and vaginal entry. I was 22 then. My doctor had told me that during my surgery that he had got out all of the endometriosis that he could find and that I should not have endometriosis ever again. I have not had any problems with bleeding, blood clots (like when on my period) pain, nothing sense my surgery. And all OBGYN exams have been great. Until last night. After I urinated and blotted myself as usual, I had had no BM. I had several blood clots 4-5 medium and big ones and the blood color was the same when I had had my period in the past. Today I feel the same way I did while I was on my period. ????
Endometrial tissue left on the cervix can cause bleeding (even regular mini periods) when the cervix is not removed. However, since you have not had bleeding since 1992, the cause is probably something else. Was your hysterectomy for endometriosis? If so, if you have endo implants / lesions on your cervix, those can cause bleeding. Even vaginal atrophy can cause bleeding but it would tend to be spotting, not full-on bleeding. You should see your doctor to determine the cause. Let us know what you find out.
