Post Hysterectomy Sex

Had complete hysterectomy (tubes, uterus, ovaries, cervix) 7 weeks ago due to endometrial cancer.  My husband and I attempted to have sex recently.  Penetration was extremely uncomfortable!  We used some lubricant; something we didn't usually need.  It didn't make much of difference.  Should I be concerned or just accept that it may be a process to get back into the swing of things????

I also had a hysterectomy. What I have noticed is that I tend to get extremely dry during intercourse now. My question to you is, if you don't mind me asking, what was the reason for your hysterectomy?

Yes, this can be a process sometimes, but there should'nt be that much pain 7 weeks post surgery.
Are you taking any hormones? Have you had your 6 week checkup? Did you wait 6 weeks before having sex?
You should get in to see your Dr and tell him/her what's going on.
