Pre Op Concerns_Large Fibroid Removal

I'm having surgery to remove a fibroid. I had 3 Lupron Depot shots and my cycle never stopped. I started my cycle last thursday and i'm scheduled for surgery on tuesday. Just wondering if i'll still be able to have surgery and what I should expect that first week home.

Obviously, a Hysterectomy or partial is much more invasive and requires a much longer healing process~

I was in your same exact situation two years ago.. I didnt receive my last Lupron injection and ended up bleeding a few days prior and up to the day of my surgery..My Dr/Surgeon didnt seem too worried. I would let them know ahead of time, though..Since your cycle never stopped, your Hemo probably needs to be checked to be sure you can still have the surgery. If it's too low, they may postpone the procedure.
What type of procedure? Hysteroscopy? Laparoscopy? I've had two Hysteroscopy procedures. Minimally invasive, fast recovery..

Good luck, God Speed & speedy recovery!
