Suggestions Anyone??

I went in for my normal yearly pap,  I am 50 years old.  My last two periods have been 2 weeks long in duration.  the first month I spotted of and on for two weeks.  The second month I had a pretty much normal period except it lasted for two weeks again.  I am anemic per the blood tests.  So I am now on iron 2 pills a day it was in the range of about 27 I believe.  I had a pelvic ultrasound last week and I was told I have a cyst on my left ovary fluid filed about 4cm I think she said? Also my uterus is enlarged and I have a thickened endometrial lining of 18 mm.  She said that was very thick and not normal.  I am scheduled for an emedotrial biopsy Aug 14 to see is theere is any uterine cancer.  She said most likely there is not.  I have had 6 pregnancys and one was a miscarriage.  I had all children natural child birth.  Has ANYONE had this similar situtation???  Needless to say I am really worried.  Any suggestions?  Any feed back is appreciated.  :)

Ovarian Cyst Pamphlet
by Jan214
first pages I have seen on ovarian cysts.  I love it this guy advocates TVUSs every year with a pap test.  There is a lot to research though because he says a lot of stuff that is controversial.  One of the things he says is that Drs put women on BC pills to keep them busy while the cyst goes away on it's own?  He also discusses the "myth" of the  burst cyst.  You ALL need to read that part. He is clearly not on the Drs side in this at all.  He fully explains how cysts develop every month and what happens to them from there.  I am going to add this to the HealthPages "Other Ovarian Cyst Sites" page and I do hope you all will get a chance to read it.

Oh, since I don't start any posts over here I will take this opportunity to ask all of you to please look at the HealthPages, familiarize yourselves with the info there so you can use it for new people on here, and PLEASE add you own stuff if you have found pages you think would help others.  There are already a lot of pages started and if you want to add to anyone's healthpage you can just by clicking "EDIT".  MH put that there for our use and I have been looking at it like a reference library for ovcy and ovca.  Instead of searching through the internet all of the time we could have the info right at out fingertips.  So please do use them and definitely add to them.  If you don't know how to or have any trouble adding something, please send me a note or msg and I will help you do it.
