Sorry about that mistake I changed that. I had a sonogram done that showed my endometrium was thickening, so they did a biopsy of that. When the results came back they were abnormal. Also my estrogen was high. my doctor then wanted to wait 6 months so I decided to go get a second opinion. That is when my doctor now asked me what my other doctor gave me for the estrogen and I said nothing. She couldnt believe it. So then she said we are going to do a D&C, ablation, and hysterscopy. When the results came back from that she said everything was fine. Then I started having the bleeding after sex and sometimes it would last a couple of days. So my doctor did a pap test and when she swabbed me I started to bleed. She said it was not coming from the back of the cervix that is was in the front part of my vagina. So I have to wait for the results to come back and if they are fine then she said I probably need a vein carterized. I did ask about endometriosis in the beginning and she said no. So what do I do?
hi..Your profile has you listed as a man,,,LOL thats some mistake.
about the bleeding during/after sex...does sex hurt? if yes could be tied in with endometriosis...if no maybe you need some good ole ky jelly for now..until other problems are corrected,,,run this by your dr ask his/her advice.
I dont understand why a simple pap would be done after discovering endometriosis...how was this diagnosed? also biopsy from what? the vagina/ did you have a colopscopy..to diagnosis endo and they did biopsy then? having a pap after this is kinda like running before you learn to crawl,,,,a pap is a easy less than a min test...
also you need to ask very specific questions...abnormal is vague...ask dr abnormal in what way..what degree..what they suggest should be done.
sounds like waiting for four months for any abnormal biopsy is too long..always err in side of caution with your health.
remember dr is your employee...if he is not helping you with your needs..fire him and find a new one...legally he must give your medical records to new dr...
goood luck
