To have a Hysterectomy or Not, looking for advise

Hello i am looking for advise from others thart have been through this. I will try to keep it short. I am 29, i had my tubes tied 2 years ago. At that time my Dr told me that i have endometreosis. I have constant abd pain w frequent ovarian cysts. They are so painful. I am tired of having constant pain and moodiness and i have been told multiple times by multiple drs that i need the surgery.

I have put it off because i have heard so many bad side effects and i am not so sure i want to go through that.

Anyway here i am again in extreme pain w "multiple cysts", went to the ER today, and i am trying to weigh my options. Can anyone share their experience, was it worth it??

I really dont want to do it, but i am tired of living with the pain and constanly being so irritable.

Hi, Ive been the cl here for 2 yrss and heard of so many different experiences some whip right through the surgery little to no side effects , some claimthe surge has about ruined their lives ( they re the ones who0 give up on hrt) my key boards acting up and i have to type at a snails pace to have it be with correct spelling so im gonna type  at normal speed and correct anything too hard to make out.

anywats I had a hyster for about same reasons as you endo turned into andenomyosis before I got it took care of my ovary was attached to my bowel and my uterus had to be peeeled off my bladder,,,,,,endo tissue not only hurts it can cause some serous problems thayou would not beable to know about until surgery,,like the 2 things I found out about the bowel one coulda killed meif my ovary with the big cyst had ruptured and punctured the bowel.

Id like you to read up on the DaVinci Robotic assisted hysterectomy its state of the art very best out there it is the methid I had very little scaring faster better healing,,,just type it in under search engine ,,,you will hear all good about it..I would strongly urge you to find a surgeon who can do this if you decide to get surgery....sounds like your leaning towards it,,,,a hyster should always be last resort,,,but as you say the constant pain, trips to er I now been there done that plus the narcotics they hand out to cover the pain  are a bandaid not a cure

if you decide to have the surgery I have a large cut and paste of pre and pst op help adivce....if you have ANY questions or would like to pm me please feel free
