cervical lesion

My age is 37 yrs. I am having hypothyroid since my delivery of my son who is 14yrs of age. I had some irregularities in my periods due to hypothyroids. But since I am takeing 1/2 tab eltroxin my periods are more or less regular once in 30- 33 days. Since last 1 1/2 month I am having periods every 17-18 days which lasted for 3-4 days with heavy flow. I approched a gyne doctor who examined by PV and recommended for sonograpy test. The sonograpy test report is as follows: Uterus : Uterus is antiverted in position, size of uterus is bulky. No polyps or sac seen in uterine cavity nor in cervical canal.Uterine myometrium is homogenous in echotexture, no fibroid seen.Endometrium is smooth; three lined & regular in patern(6mm thick). No uterine anomaly found.Thre is one oval shaped hypoechoic solid lesion in cervical myometrium at 2' O clock location, 15mm away from ex.os. 11X10X6mm in size suspicious for cervical mass. Uterus- 102X56X47mm
Overies:Both Ovaries are normal in size; size & echopattern no ovarian cysts seen.
Adnexae- are normal. no mass lesion seen
CUL-DE-SAC- no free fluid seen.

Impression : Cervical mass
Recommendation: Histopathological evaluation to r/o Ca Cx safely.

Now may I know what is the nature of such lesion, what is it? is it cancerous? will the process of D&C to take sample for histopathology will triger the growth if its a cancer? whats the alternative way to cure. Please advice the safe method and if homeopathy can cure the same.

Thank you and waiting for an promt reply

Oh I did forget one thing the no fluid in cul de sac is a very good thing, acervical "mass" has a high percent to be begnine, the process of taking a sample for  histopathological evaluation , is more commonly known as a biopsy, there is no medical proof that a biopsy spreads cancer of any sort, there are many types of biopys, a fine needle, a punch ( colpocentesis) a wedge, it depends on how much tissue is desired, It does sound to me that your drs plan of action is correct, i wish you all the best.

Him all of the medical mumbo jumbo language can be quite scary cant it? most of what I read on your reports is very good, do keep in mind I am not a dr I am not qualified to read reports. I can explain terminology to you,,,r/o cancer means rule out cancer.,,do not let that scare you they rule out cancer for everything. Your ovaries are free and clear..one mass sounds to be uterine,,a Mass is simply a "group" term used loosley for any lump or bump that they dont kno what it is,,,could be's cyst, polyp, endometrial tissue, aneometrial tissue (all begnine) some very very rare cyst can be malignant,,If you had a malignancy your white count should be HIGH ..I hope this gives you some relief..you probably gonna end up being scheduled for a laproscopic surgery to remove the "mass" a lap surgery is a very easy recovery do not let them do abdominal surgery unless your insurance insists.

You may not need any surgery at all this mass may be something that can be chemically(any medicine is refered to as chemical) corrected,,sometimes birthcontrol pills /injections shrink masses.
