You could be having some bleeding from atrophy (too thin/dry) vaginal walls.  2mm's of thickness is certainly nice and thin and not usually indicative of uterine cancer from all that I've been reading.

I agree in getting a second opinion on this.  Bleeding can come from the vagina itself being too dry.

Don't leap into anymore procedures without getting a second opinion.  You may be going through this needlessly when some vaginal creams may be all that's needed.   I agree with Cherie on this....second opinion and not leading the doc in the first doc's thoughts. :)

Hi , you sound very frightened and I understand , having symptoms and having the drs basically say 'I dont know" is not a comforting thing to hear.

I could speculate as to what may be wrong with you but the list is so long!! I would be inclined to think whatever you have is most likely begnine, and perhaps your hormones are quite off. Most likely anything of serious worry would have been indicated by blood work and such. Have you had a test called CA-125?

squamous cells are found in the lining of the uterus natuarally, atypia means basically normal. I think to ease your mind you should get a second opinion. However your dr seems to be wanting to do the least invasive thing possible to diagnosis you, being another D and C, tell them you insist they go to another level in tissue so they have enough to test this time. You as the patient have TONS of rights, asking for that being one of them .If your uterus is to thin they of corse will not be able too.

If you have any more questions or anything at all I can help you with please let me know, It really sounds like your in good hands. I do think getting a second opinion may be a good idea, when getting a second opinion its best not to feed the new dr with the first drs ideas, let him or her come to their own conclusions..

great big hugs.

Cherie
