Bleeding after polyp removal

Hi there, I was experiencing post menapausal bleeding and it was discovered that I had a polyp in my uterus.  I subsequently had it removed on 4th November 2008.  I bleed for about a week or so afterwards, as was the norm so I was informed.  I haven't bled for about 2 weeks, but the other day I noticed that I had started bleeding slightly again.  I might add that the polyp was benign and everything came back as ok, so I am rather worried as to why I have started bleeding again.

Can you help please?

I am 73 and about 3 months ago I had a D&c and 2 polyps removed and bled for about a week. I was given the all clear. Now I have started to bleed again. Previously I went 5 and half years between D&cS.
The specialist couldn't give a reason or suggest a cure.
I do not smoke or drink and just take colestrol medication. I have never had a major operation.
Any suggestions as to cause or cure.
Thank you

had it removed the polyp? or the polyp and uterus? Your surgery was quite recent in either case intercorse or too much exertion could be a cause of bleeding, we can look and feel great on the outside, it takes a bit longer for the inside to heal, you should definatley phone your dr about this, no need to panic but he should be informed.
